The Realme GT Neo 5 series of smartphones was launched not long ago. They come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chips. Of course, the latter provides decent performance, but many customers have been waiting for something more affordable. In this sense, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 SE should be a good option.
Before this, we had heard that the Realme GT Neo 5 SE would be equipped with the Qualcomm SM7475 mobile platform (Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 chip). In order to understand what a chip we are talking about, just know that it scored 1,029,731 points on AnTuTu, surpassing the Dimensity 8200.
Today, a Weibo blogger revealed that the new Realme GT Neo 5 SE would use a 1.5K centered single-hole flexible straight screen. On the back, it will house a 64MP OV64M super-large matrix module. The lens arrangement and flash layout remain unchanged in comparison to the original model. However, compared with the Realme GT Neo 5, it removes the RGB light and transparent cover. At the right side, we can find the lens information – MRTRIX PORF 1.79F / EFL 25MM.
As a reference, let’s recall the selling points of the original Realme GT Neo 5. The standard edition comes with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chip, which is accompanied by a 16GB+1TB memory combination. Also, it boasts a 144Hz 1.5K flagship direct screen, which uses the T7+ new generation flagship luminous material, has 1400nit local peak brightness, supports 144Hz gaming-level high refresh rate, 7-speed intelligent dynamic refresh rate, 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, 5000000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
Though all these features sound quite attractive, the selling point of the series is the support for 240W fast charging. There is also a 150W charging variant as well. But we guess most customers will prefer to pay a bit more but get their hands on the fastest charging smartphone on the planet.
