If nothing accidental happens, Xiaomi will release the Redmi K60 Ultra soon. At least, the sources of 91mobiles are sure of this.
From this media, we learned that the upcoming Redmi K60 Ultra will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor. The latter is built with TSMC’s 4nm process. It uses an octa-core CPU architecture. The Cortex-X3 super-core has a main frequency of up to 3.05GHz. At the same time, the CPU single-core performance is increased by 12%, and multi-core performance is increased by 10%. Though this is a top-end chip, we have no confidence it can challenge the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
On the front, our protagonist will carry a 1.5K OLED screen. By the way, the K50 Ultra that is currently on the market has a 1.5K straight screen with a screen resolution of 2712*1220, a pixel density of 446PPi, and supports a 120Hz high refresh rate.
It is worth noting that the 1.5K screen of the Redmi K50 Ultra is provided by two domestic suppliers. That’s why there is every reason to think that the screen of the Redmi K60 Ultra is also expected to come from these manufacturers.
Apart from this, the handset will support 100W fast charging. The middle frame will be made of metal. And this handset should hit the market in the third quarter of this year.
Well, when looking at the specs mentioned above, we can see that the selling points of the Redmi K60 Ultra will not be significantly upgraded compared with the previous generation K50 Ultra. But we can’t insist on this because there is no information concerning the camera parameters. It is worth noting that there may be another version of the K60 Ultra powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform and support for 120W fast charging.
