Activision Blizzard has confirmed the steady progress of the highly anticipated Call of Duty 2023, which is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of this year (October-December), in its latest financial report. Activision Blizzard also revealed that the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Warzone mobile game will be tightly integrated with its PC and console counterparts and is currently undergoing regional testing.
This year’s Call of Duty will be the follow-up to the hugely popular Modern Warfare 2 and will be developed by the renowned Sledgehammer Games. Activision Blizzard seemed to confirm this revelation earlier this week when they stated that Modern Warfare 2’s characters, weapons and packs will carry over into this year’s iteration.
