In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Porsche introduced a retro-inspired concept sports car called the Vision 357 Speedster.
Porsche Vision 357 in detail
This new concept, based on the 718 Cayman GT4 e-Performance conversion, draws inspiration from the iconic 356 model and incorporates the engine and battery technology from the Mission R.
The Porsche Vision 357 Speedster concept utilizes the same chassis as the 718 GT4 Clubsport, although official sources have not disclosed specific power details. It is worth noting that the Mission R boasts an impressive 1072 horsepower, achieving a rapid acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers in just 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 186 miles per hour (299 kilometers).
While performance remains a crucial aspect of Porsche vehicles, its design is the primary highlight of the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster concept. Porsche emphasizes the car’s shape by adopting a shorter windshield, reminiscent of the original 356 Speedster.
The body showcases elegant curves and sports a two-tone paint scheme featuring Grivelo Gray Metallic and Marble Gray. The front wheels are also coated in Grivelo Grey, and a 75 icon decal is proudly displayed on the hood, alongside the inscription “1948-2023.”

The 20-inch wheels are constructed from lightweight magnesium, and the design pays homage to classic Porsche wheel aesthetics, reminiscent of the 356 A and 356 B models equipped with drum brakes, complete with carbon fiber hubcaps and a center lock mechanism.
