Shanghai will host the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference from 6 to 8 July. With three main themes – technology, industry and humanities – this highly anticipated conference will explore the cutting edge of technological and scientific achievements. Large-scale models, smart chips, scientific intelligence, robotics, brain-like intelligence, the metaverse, autonomous driving, data forums, rule of law and security, and blockchain are just some of the cutting-edge topics that will be covered.
Leading academics, prominent businessmen and members of international organizations are among the more than 1,400 prominent visitors who have confirmed their attendance. Among the notable participants are David Patterson, Joseph Sfakis, Manuel Bloom, and more than 80 domestic and foreign scholars, including Nobel laureate Michael Levitt. There will also be representatives from well-known companies such as Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Huawei, and Alibaba.
The conference will feature a variety of intelligent robots, including Xiaobei from the Shanghai Institute of Technology and humanoid robots from Tesla. In addition, cutting-edge robots will be unveiled, including a quadruped robot, flying dog, embodied intelligent engineering robots, an intelligent mine-carrying robot, and more. More than 20 robots will make their debut.
A major focus of the conference will be large-scale AI models, including models such as SenseNova, Huawei Cloud Pangu large-scale model, and Alibaba Tongyi Qianwen, among others. With more than 30 models on display, the event will also demonstrate how large-scale models are being applied in many industries.
