Nubia’s gaming smartphone sub-brand has officially announced the debut date for the Red Magic 8S Pro. The product launch conference, scheduled for 5 July, will unveil a number of cutting-edge innovations designed to transform the gaming experience.
The basic design of the Red Magic 8S Pro has been revealed, featuring the world’s first 24GB mobile phone memory. This revolutionary development puts Red Magic ahead of competitors such as OnePlus and Realme, who are also expected to launch phones with 24GB of RAM soon.
The Red Magic 8S Pro is also equipped with the “second generation Snapdragon 8 leading version” processor, with a very high core frequency of 3.36GHz. This high-frequency variant delivers excellent performance, as demonstrated by its outstanding benchmark score of over 1.7 million on the V10 edition of AnTuTu, beating even the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The Red Magic 8S Pro will feature two independent IC touch shoulder buttons to enhance the gaming experience. These shoulder buttons offer gamers a smooth and engaging gaming experience with adjustable settings. The system will also feature multiple high-performance settings and active cooling fans to ensure peak performance even during long gaming sessions.
The Red Magic 8S Pro will display a new generation of under-screen camera technology. The device produces vivid images with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It incorporates PWM high-frequency dimming and DC dimming technologies, supports the P3 and sRGB color gamuts, has a 10-bit color depth and offers consumers an exciting visual experience.
What about a gaming tablet?
During the launch event, Red Magic will also unveil a gaming tablet in addition to the flagship smartphone. The gaming tablet will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ processor with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will feature a 2.8K 144Hz screen to ensure immersive and fluid gameplay and a massive 12,000mAh battery to support long gaming sessions.
