The Mi 13 has been on the market for a while. So it’s logical to learn that the Xiaomi 14 series is generating excitement, with sources suggesting that research and development on the Mi 14 series is well underway. The back design of the Mi 14 Pro has been seen in leaked renders.
The image shows that the Mi 14 Pro retains the square camera module design of its predecessor, with three cameras and a periscope telephoto lens at the bottom. Interestingly, this is the first time that two successive models in Xiaomi’s digital range have had few cosmetic changes, with the design being carried over for greater recognition.
The front of the Mi 14 Pro, on the other hand, will undergo significant changes. The Mi 14 will retain the small form factor introduced in the Mi 13, as well as the highly acclaimed Direct Screen technology introduced in the Mi 13. The Mi 14 Pro, on the other hand, will feature an ultra-slim and slightly curved display. The curvature is less than on the Mi 13 Pro, with only the black bezel revealing a curved surface, similar to a 2.5D impression. This design option provides an excellent viewing experience while reducing the likelihood of green screen concerns.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor is expected to power the Mi 14 series. Based on past release trends, the Mi 14 series is expected to receive worldwide first rights and make its official debut in November.
By the way, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Technology Summit has been moved to October, suggesting that the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 will be unveiled earlier than expected. This coincides with the planned November launch of the Mi 14 series, increasing the prospect of Xiaomi gaining official launch rights.
