The Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+, the latest smartphone models from Xiaomi Redmi, have just been launched in India. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 mobile platform, these smartphones offer consumers improved performance and efficiency.
The Redmi A2 comes with three storage options: 2GB RAM with 32GB storage, 2GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The Redmi A2+, on the other hand, offers a single storage configuration consisting of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which can be expanded by up to 3GB with external storage.
Both variants feature a 6.52-inch waterdrop display with a front resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. They have a Micro SD card slot and offer dual-card dual-standby capabilities. For added convenience and security, the Redmi A2+ has a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The backs of the devices have a faux leather material that gives it a luxurious look and feel. It is powered by a powerful 5000mAh battery that can handle 10W of charging. Users can connect their favorite audio accessories to the devices thanks to the 3.5mm headphone jack and micro-USB charging interface.
The Redmi A2 is available at the following price tags:
- 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM costs 6299 Indian rupees, or approximately $76.
- 64GB of storage and 2GB of RAM costs INR 6799, or approximately $82.
- 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM costs 7999 Indian rupees, or approximately $97.
The Redmi A2+ costs:
- 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM cost 8499 Indian rupees, or about $103.
