XGIMI unveiled the 100-inch MIRA soft light art TV for 6,999 yuan ($1007) today.
The XGIMI MIRA features a 100-inch black field brightness of 66.7fL, which significantly surpasses the cinema standard for night-time movie viewing, thanks to the third-generation Dual Light super mixed light projection light source technology. To address the three industry pain points of monochromatic laser color difference, three-color laser perception discomfort, and unsustainable brightness of full-color LED light source, XGIMI has developed a new optical technology called Dual Light super mixed light.
Dual Light super mixed light technology, which combines a laser and an LED light source into one, makes up for the shortcomings of LED by using pure red laser and delivers ultra-high color gamut and ultra-high brightness by expanding the red color gamut and enhancing the laser brightness; long periods of viewing the natural spectrum can be spent without fatigue thanks to the addition of multicolor LED to the laser’s shortboard. An outstanding viewing experience with super comfort, ultra-high brightness, ultra-high color gamut, and ultra-high color accuracy is created by the collision of two completely different light sources.
The body of the XGIMI 100-inch Delicate Light Art TV MIRA has delicate curves that can better match the aesthetics of the home, thanks to the use of a considerable amount of textile fabric and a low-saturation moon shadow sand color. In addition, XGIMI’s patented, specially designed high-gain soft light curtain uses unique nanomaterials to reduce glare and reflections caused by ambient light, such as daylight and artificial lighting. The official added that the viewing comfort is significantly better compared to conventional 100-inch TVs.
The starry night, windows, pandas, and fireworks in the display can move with people at the same time thanks to MIRA’s built-in proximity sensing module. This is a first for XGIMI Any Door.
XGIMI and Harman/Kardon collaborated to create a 2.1-channel, high-quality sound system for MIRA. A sense of sound direction can be created by using the front left and right speakers to address the left and right sides of the auditorium directly.
As far as we know, XGIMI Soft Light Art TV MIRA will be available for reservation on the company’s official website from May 10, and will start shipping on 30 May.
