Google unveiled two new phones at its I/O 2023 conference: the Pixel Fold, a phone with a foldable screen, and the Pixel 7a, a regular smartphone. Although the Pixel Fold costs more than the 7a, it has a smaller market. It is only available in four countries: the US, the UK, Germany and Japan.

The costs are as follows: $1799 in the US, £1749 in the UK, €1899 in Germany and ¥253,000 in Japan.
The Pixel Fold, Google’s first foldable device, has a 4821mAh battery, a Tensor G2 processor and 30W fast charging. Its 5.8-inch outer screen has a 17.4:9 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2092×1080, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1550 nits. The inner foldable screen measures 7.6 inches, has a 6:5 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2208×1840, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1450 nits. It has a 48MP primary camera (with OIS), a 10.8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens in its rear triple camera system. The outer screen has a 9.5MP lens and the inner screen has an 8MP lens.
Google Pixel 7a specs and price
The Pixel 7a is available in 17 countries and territories, including Canada, Australia, India, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Norway, Sweden, the UK, and the US. The Tensor G2 processor, 6.1-inch FHD+ gOLED display, 4385mAh battery, 18W wired charging, and 7.5W wireless charging are all included in one device. A 64MP primary camera, 13MP dual ultra-wide angle cameras, and 13MP front cameras are among its camera features. The device supports off-screen fingerprint recognition, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6E and is IP67 dust and water-resistant. It weighs 193g.
The first batch of Google Pixel 7a devices has arrived in 17 countries around the world, which is almost the same number of countries as the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The full list is as follows:
