The Hisense 100LX 8K, the world’s first 8K laser TV, has been officially launched. This innovative device can accurately regulate 33 million pixels and has an ultra-high resolution of 8K. It is officially described as “leading the industry“.
The Hisense 100LX 8K is more eye-friendly due to its rich color gamut that can reach 110% BT.2020, seamless transition of 1.07 billion colors, and lack of hazardous blue light.
It has made advances in 8K display technology, while also using an ultra-short focus system architectural design lens with changeable field of view, ultra-high resolution video signal decoding and DMD drive technology.
Sound quality has also evolved. It has four separate speakers that work together to create a wide sound field using Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X sound effects. This is the most immersive audio-visual experience and solution that makes the sound follow people as they move.
The Hisense 100LX 8K also features Hisense’s proprietary LPU digital laser engine, which pushes full-color laser display technology to the limit. The LPU, which is the most important component of laser TV and incorporates DLP’s high-efficiency light manipulation technology, is comparable to the “brain” of laser TV.
The greater increase in light efficiency provides new technological support for the product’s larger size, more immersive picture quality, greener, healthier and friendlier visual experience. Its processing level can achieve an extraordinary performance of more than 100 billion times per second.
While traditional display systems consume more energy to achieve the same resolution, the laser display system based on Hisense’s proprietary LPU digital laser engine is more efficient and makes it easier to achieve ultra-high resolution of 8K and above.
The laser wavelength of the LPU can be adjusted for high color gamut, and it can achieve 16-bit color grayscale encoding without overlap. It is more adaptable and has a wider color gamut than traditional wavelength control; it is narrow and can cover more than 70% of the color gamut, making a qualitative leap and establishing the current color gamut ceiling.
Other Hisense 100LX 8K options include support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
