The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite’s 108MP camera uses a 1/1.67″ Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor with 0.64m pixels that can be binned 9 to 1 for a 12MP output with an effective pixel size of 1.92m (larger than the Nord CE 2’s 64MP/0.7m). The new computer is capable of 3x lossless zoom (and 6x digital zoom). The gadget also has 2MP macro and 2MP depth cameras.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor manufactured in 6nm technology. One of the main limitations is that it only supports 1080p@30fps video recording, which limits its 108MP camera.
OnePlus increased the base RAM to 8GB and included the OxygenOS 13.1 operating system (based on Android 13). Storage options include UFS 2.2 128GB or 256GB, as well as a hybrid microSD slot that can accommodate a second SIM card or expand storage by 1TB.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has a 6.72-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution (20:9, 8bit), a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The typical brightness is 550 nits, while the maximum brightness is 680 nits.
The new phone is slightly slimmer, measuring 8.3mm thick (compared to 8.5mm in the previous model) and weighing 195g. Two colors are available: soft lime and vibrant gray.
The new device has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. That means 30 minutes of charging can get you to 80% (compared to 50% with the previous model’s 33W system). The new model includes SuperVOOC Endurance Edition, which prevents overcharging and slows down battery aging, allowing up to 4 years of daily use on a single charge.
The new device also includes stereo speakers (with a 200% super volume mode) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes with a charger, a USB-C cable (which supports USB 2.0) and a pre-installed screen protector.
The OnePlus North CE 3 Lite will be available in Europe on April 25. The 8GB+128GB model will cost 330 euros (IT home note: currently around 2472 yuan) / 300 pounds (IT home note: currently around 2559 yuan). The 8GB+128GB variant of this phone costs 20,000 Indian rupees (currently about 1,672 yuan) in India, while the 256GB model costs 22,000 Indian rupees (IT home note: currently about 1,839 yuan). It will be available from April 11.
