The rumors about the Motorola Edge 40 have been on the net for a while. As you should know, it’s going to be the renamed Moto X40. Well, we have heard a lot about this handset. And recently, it’s been spotted in wild photos. The information comes from TechOutlook which had exclusively shared the official renders of the phone.

Besides this, we knew that the Motorola Edge 40 comes with the unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor. It will be accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and provide up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage space. The battery capacity will be 4400mAh, and it should support 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The front of the Edge 40 5G uses a 6.55-inch Full HD+ pOLED panel screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, supports HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 1200nits.

At the same time, on the opposite side, we can find a 50-megapixel f/1.5 main camera paired with a 13-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. The front of the fuselage carries a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Our protagonist will be available in various materials, such as leather and PMMA acrylic. The leather version weighs about 171 grams and measures 158.43 x 71.99 x 7.58 mm. The PMMA version is 7.49 mm thick and weighs approximately 167 grams. Both variants will be IP68-rated.

The 8GB+128GB version will be priced at 599 euros.
