Every single company and person in the world is now using ChatGPT. I am no exception. One of the startups has integrated this text-based AI chatbot into a voice assistant and made it even smarter. We are talking about chat.d-id, which looks and speaks more intuitively. Be careful not to fall in love with her.
You can ask her almost anything and she’ll give you the right answer. She can even solve difficult mathematical problems. We understand that behind those beautiful eyes is ChatGPT, but it is better than chatting directly with ChatGPT, who seems to be a soulless creature.
What’s more interesting is that there are two ways of communicating with her: by typing or by speaking. The developers have also added some interesting features. For example, if you ignore her for a long time, she will take the initiative to find you.
We should also point out that there are still some bugs and shortcomings. For example, the only language supported is English. Another shortcoming is that you can only ask her 20 questions at a time. You also can’t change your avatar.
Of course, Alice doesn’t know everything. So if you ask her some opinion- and interest-oriented questions, she will tell you that she is an AI robot.
Despite these shortcomings, this is the first face-to-face ChatGPT application. The developers use real-time facial animation and advanced text-to-speech to create an immersive experience.
According to the official introduction, users can chat with digital humans up to five times, and each chat includes five round-trip interactions. (There are 20 face-to-face tests, however.) There are also APIs available for businesses and developers to use.
D-ID, the company behind it, has also built a Creative Reality Studio that uses generative AI, including deep learning facial animation technology, GPT-3, and Stable DIffusion to generate video.
