We haven’t heard anything from POCO for ages. Well, it released a few mid-range and low-end models recently. But what we are waiting for is an upper mid-range or a flagship model. For this brand, it’s a bit hard to talk about top-end models as it focuses on cost-effective handsets. However, there are some smartphones under this brand that are ready to fight with any model on the market. The upcoming Poco F5 Pro is going to be a smartphone with such characteristics. Its specs have been leaked online. The phone is expected to be a rebranded Redmi K60, although wireless charging is not mentioned on the list.
According to a tipster, the Poco F5 Pro has a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q lens on the front, while the rear camera will come with a 64MP main sensor (OV64B40, OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle (OV08D10) lens, and a 2MP macro (OV02B10) lens. There will be built-in 7 kinds of film effect cameras.
Under the hood, our protagonist will house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, supplemented by LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash storage. On the front, the Poco F5 Pro will sport a 6.67-inch 3200×1440 CSOT C6 OLED flexible straight screen. The other screen parameters include a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 12bit color depth, DeltaE ≈ 0.3, JNCD ≈ 0.25, support for 16000-level dimming, front and rear dual light sensing, peak brightness of 1400 nits, and support for 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The handset should run the MIUI 14 system based on Android 13.
In other aspects, the machine will have a built-in 5500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. Thus, it can reach 100% of battery status in 50 minutes.
The glass version will be 8.59mm thick and weigh 204g, whereas the plain leather version will be 8.79mm thick and weigh 199g. This handset will support NFC, infrared remote control, Bluetooth 5.3, X-axis linear motor, and dual stereo speakers, with dual Hi-Res certification.
As you can see, its specs list makes it one of the best models out there. Plus, undoubtedly, the Poco F5 Pro will cost less than other handsets with similar specs on the market.
