The iPhone 15 became the talk of the town immediately after the iPhone 14 series was launched. Although there are not many major changes, the new series will sell like hotcakes. This is a trick Apple plays every year. What’s interesting is that it always works. Anyway, the new range is on its way. And we have some news about it.
The Japanese website Mac Otakara recently published a video comparing a 3D-printed iPhone 15 model with a protective case for the iPhone 14. The media found out that the new phone could not be made to fit the cases of the current generation of iPhones.
The video shows 3D printed models of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max based on accurate drawings. As you can see, the Pro model has curved edges, narrower bezels, and a slightly larger rear camera module. These are in line with the rumored design. All four models will also use a USB-C port instead of the Lightning port.
If the 3D printed models are accurate, the slight change in dimensions of the new phones will make them incompatible with cases from the iPhone 14 range. However, there is one exception – the iPhone 15 Plus will still fit the iPhone 14 Plus cases.
Barring an accident, Apple will bring Dynamic Island to all four iPhone 15 models, a feature that was limited to the iPhone 14 Pro series last year. The iPhone 15 Pro series is rumored to feature thinner, more curved bezels than the iPhone 14 Pro series, while the iPhone 15 series will resemble the iPhone 14 series with straight bezels, an aluminum frame, and a glass front and back.
The iPhone 15 Pro series is also expected to have a more curved front glass that blends better with the bezel. Apple is expected to use titanium instead of stainless steel for the body and use solid-state volume and power buttons.
