As we can see, the Redmi Note 12 4G phone looks identical to the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro Plus 5G phones that were launched in India earlier this year.
From the renders, we can see that the Redmi Note 12 4G uses a straight-edge bezel design. There’s a slight curve between the bezel and the back. This should provide a comfortable grip. The phone has a SIM slot on the left edge. The right edge houses the power and volume keys.
On the bottom, we find the USB Type-C port, the main speaker grill, and the microphone. The top has an IR blaster and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the front, the Note 12 4G has a thick chin and fairly narrow side and top bezels.
The main camera has three sensors and an LED flash. The blogger also revealed that the Note 12 4G would be available in three colors – grey, blue, and green.
The Redmi Note 12 4G phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 685 chip, which is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680 SoC with a peak frequency of 2.8GHz. It will also use 4GB of memory and run the MIUI 14 system based on Android 13.
The last bunch of features we have heard about include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, which could also support a 120Hz refresh rate; a 13MP front camera and a 50MP main camera; the latter should be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth/macro sensor; lastly, it will come with a 5000mAh battery, which should support 33W fast charging.
