Usually, low-end and mid-range smartphones do not gain popularity at their launch unlike the flagship models. For instance, we bet only a few of you know that VIVO released the VIVO V27 series of smartphones today. The lineup includes three models, the vanilla version, the Pro variant, and the V27e.
VIVO V27 / Pro Highlights
Honestly, the original VIVO V27 and the Pro are almost identical. The biggest difference is the processors they use. Say, the VIVO V27 Pro sports the Dimensity 8200 chip. The latter is based on a 4nm process and a CPU frequency of 3.1GHz. At the same time, the vanilla version comes with the Dimensity 7200 chip. Though it still uses the same 4nm manufacturing process, its highest CPU frequency is 2.8GHz.
The entire series features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. Also, these two come with a 50MP main camera that uses the Sony IMX766V sensor. It has an f/1.8 aperture and OIS (optical image stabilization). There are also 8MP ultra-wide-angle and 2MP macro lenses. We can see the ring LED flash next to the lens.

We guess the biggest selling point is the front-facing 50MP autofocus camera. Vivo has brought tons of photo and video software improvements to the phone, including real-time Extreme Night Sight, Super Night Sight, and hybrid image stabilization that can artificially fix jitter in videos.
This series of phones run the FuntouchOS 13 system based on Android 13. The phones also support SA and NSA network dual-mode 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz. As for the interface, they come with a USB-C port that provides a fast and stable 66W charging to the 4600mAh battery.
The body weight is 182 grams. The VIVO V27 Pro has a magic blue or regular noble black that changes under ultraviolet light and sunlight, while the V27 standard version offers emerald green and flowing gold.
The VIVO V27 Pro offers three storage options – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB, starting at $459. Its sibling is available in 8GB+256GB or 12GB+256GB, with a starting price of $399.
VIVO V27e Selling Points
The VIVO V27e phone is suitable for areas where 5G networks are not available, as the manufacturer provides the device with a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, which only supports 4G LTE. The back of the V27e is almost the same, with three cameras arranged vertically. But it has a different combination. The phone comes with a 64MP main camera (with OIS support) + 2MP depth of field + 2MP macro sensors combination. The selfie shooter has a 32MP resolution and supports fixed focus.
Its flat screen and straight-edged bezels set the VIVO V27e apart from the other two phones. The front panel has a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. The storage is 8GB+128GB, while the battery capacity is 4600mAh and supports 66W fast charging. The phone runs the latest FuntouchOS 13 system based on Android 13. It is only 7.7mm thick.
The VIVO V27e has two colors: glory black and lavender purple. The starting price of the machine is $289.
