LG doesn’t make smartphones anymore. But it still designs various gadgets for different purposes. For instance, in the coming days, LG will uncover an interesting portable temporary tattoo machine IMPRINTU at the Mobile World Congress MWC 2023 in Barcelona. As the name suggests, it’s a small-size and portable product that will help users have temporary tattoos themselves.
According to the official introduction, the temporary tattoo machine is compact in size and can be picked up with one hand (95x61x78mm). In some sense, this is a small color printer designed to print tattoos on the skin.
After the tattoo machine is connected to the mobile device, the user can choose an image at will and print it to generate a temporary tattoo. The tattoos are printed at a resolution of 600 dpi, and it only takes two to three seconds to prepare a tattoo for printing.
In addition, the machine uses safe cosmetic-grade tattoo ink, and the pattern can last about one day. It supports printing on skin and clothes. (This should be useful for those who want to test a tattoo before the final decision or for fun (we guess you have watched the movies such as The Hangover)). Also, this tattoo machine can be used by kids. We mean, they like buying various candies and bubble gums that include stickers with tattoos. So now, they can choose any picture and ink on their skin, knowing that it will be removed in a day.
On the Imprintu mobile app, LG will also continuously update the image design created by artificial intelligence EXAONE.
LG’s portable temporary tattoo machine IMPRINTU will be launched in the second half of this year. It will first land in the Korean and American markets. As for the price, we still have no clue how much it will cost.
