Today, Leica has introduced a limited edition of its D-Lux 7 camera to commemorate the opening of the “Photographs from the James Bond Archive” exhibition in London. The Leica D-Lux 7 007 Limited Edition features an engraved James Bond logo, along with a large accessory package. The camera also boasts a large sensor and a bright Vario Summilux zoom lens, making it a perfect fit for capturing high-quality photographs.
To honor the first movie in the series, which came out on the big screen in 1962, a new limited edition of the Leica D-Lux 7 will be available in only 1962 copies. The price for this special edition is 1990 €, which is just a €640 difference from the regular version of the camera.
The Leica D-Lux 7 007 is special because it has a diamond texture that can be found on the body and handle of the device. It also has the iconic 007 logo on the top cover. The lens cover is designed to look like a gun barrel, which is a significant feature in all James Bond movies.
Moreover, this version has a unique feature of a leather holster that resembles the one used for carrying a gun. This design is inspired by the iconic hero James Bond, who was created by author Ian Flemming. Furthermore, this case is also designed to allow easy access to the camera at all times, even in challenging situations.
These two worlds have met before, and in 2021, a special edition of the Leica Q2 camera was released to celebrate the 25th film in the series.

The Leica D-Lux 7 007 Limited Edition includes all the technical features of the Leica D-Lux 7 camera, which was introduced in 2018 and is closely related to the Panasonic Lumix LX100 II. It has a 17MP Micro 4/3 sensor and an aperture range of f/1.7 to f/2.8, making it perfect for low-light photography.

The camera has a 0.38-inch 2.38 Mpts electronic viewfinder and a large 3-inch touch screen. It is compact, measuring 11.8 cm wide, 6.6 cm high, and 6.4 cm deep, with a weight of 403 grams. One thing to note is that it is not tropicalized, so users should be careful when using it in humid or dusty environments.
