We have been waiting for Xiaomi to release at least three smartphones in the Xiaomi 13 series. Alas, there were only two – the vanilla variant and the much-powerful Pro version. However, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been the talk of the town since the Xiaomi 13 conference. We already know that this handset is ready and will be released in the near future. As for a specific launch date, it should hit the market in April.
Today, a blogger Kartikey Singh released a render of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Honestly, information coming our way from this blogger has been always reliable. So we see no reason not to believe in this.
From the render, we can see that the shape of the back is similar to that of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. However, the number of camera sensors has been increased to four. Also, it has a different arrangement. Now, it is arranged in a split shape.
As for the camera paramaters, we know that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will sport the IM989 one-inch main camera lens and support Leica imaging. So there is every reason to think that we are dealing with the most powerful imaging flagship in Xiaomi’s history.
In addition, it will come with 3 IMX858 lenses, covering ultra-wide-angle, 3x portrait telephoto and 5x telephoto modes, respectively.
In other aspects, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra should sport the second-generation Snapdragon 8 chop. Also, it will bid farewell to 67W fast charging and upgrade to 90W. Also, the phone will upgrade the USB 2.0 transmission interface to USB 3.0. It should have up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 500GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Lastly, our protagonist is said to provide plain leather and glass variants, but there shouldn’t be a ceramic variant.
