Xiaomi will release a new tablet in the coming weeks / days. Ahead of the launch, the tablet was spotted in wild photos. These photos revealed one of the key design elements of the device – the camera module. As we can see, the Xiaomi Pad 6 inherits many elements from last year’s flagship smartphone.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 photos show the rear camera includes three image sensors and an LED flash. When comparing with the Xiaomi 12, we can see that their looks are identical.
Prior to this, the Xiaomi Pad 6 passed various Chinese certifications. As you know, any electronic device that will appear on the shelves, should pass various certifications. Otherwise, authorities won’t allow it to be sold in China. Usually, a smartphone / tablet begins getting those documents a couple of months before the official launch. The Xiaomi Pad is not an exception.
According to rumors, it will receive an 11- or 12-inch display with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 140Hz. This screen will also support Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
The battery capacity of the device is likely to be 10,000mAh. At the same time, under the hood, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will house a Snapdragon processor. But we have no info on the specific processor type. On the other hand, we know that it will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The release of the Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected at the MWC exhibition in the period from February 27 to March 2.
By the way, this tablet was rumored to come much later, in August. So as there are two possible launch dates, we won’t rush to give preference to one of them.
