The iPhone 14 supports satellite communication function. But soon, there will be many Android smartphones in various categories that will also support this feature. For instance, today, we learned that the Huawei Mate 50 series will come with this feature onboard.
As the blogger revealed, the upcoming Huawei Mate X3 will use second-gen satellite communication technology. There is a high probability that it will be named “Consonance.”
Huawei’s next-generation satellite communication technology has three directions. They include “sending and receiving two-way text messages”, “supporting voice text messages,” and “supporting short-term voice calls”.
At present, the Huawei Mate 50 series and Mate Xs 2 both support the Beidou satellite message function. The company executive once said: “This function is hardly used in daily life, but it may be used once in a lifetime.”
In terms of hardware, the Huawei Mate X3 is consistent with the Mate 50 series. Thus, it will come with Qualcomm’s full-blooded version of the Snapdragon 8+ processor. The frequency of the ultra-large core CPU is 3.2GHz, which is higher than that of the original version. So there is every reason to think that this processor will perform much better.
Also, the built-in 4800mAh battery will support 66W fast charging.
In addition, the Huawei Mate X3 is expected to inherit the inward-folding design of the X series. The back design is basically the same as that of the Huawei Mate 50. Plus, the handset is expected to retain the periscope telephoto lens. With Huawei’s own XMAGE imaging system, it is expected to become the most powerful folding screen smartphone in terms of photography.
The Huawei Mate X3 is scheduled for March. The company said that it had prepared millions of stocks. So the loyal Huawei fans can sit quietly.
