The new Xiaomi annual flagships were launched in China long ago. Now, it’s the right time to make the Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones available globally. The company will announce this during MWC 2023 on February 26. At the same time, it’s expected that we will see the Xiaomi 13 Lite as well.
Yesterday, whistleblower Sudhanshu Ambhore posted an unboxing video of the Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G. He also confirmed that this is the international variant of the Civi 2.

As can be seen from the video, this phone uses a front-centered dual camera, and the rear lens module is exactly the same as the Xiaomi Civi 2.
The Xiaomi Civi 2 Chinese version was released in September 2022. It uses a 6.55-inch 2400×1080 AMOLED screen that also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The color depth is 10 bits, the maximum brightness is 1000 nits, and there is support for Dolby Vision. The handset features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which is manufactured using a 4-nanometer process. It is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and the internal memory is 256 GB of UFS 2.2. The phone runs the MIUI 13 operating system. The 4500mAh battery supports 67W wired fast charging.
On the front, we have a 32-megapixel + 32-megapixel dual-camera, while the rear camera comes with a 50-megapixel main lens (Sony IMX766) + 20-megapixel lens + 2-megapixel lens.
The Xiaomi Civi 2 supports “bionic binoculars” and “ultra-clear binoculars” modes. The former can imitate the distance measurement of the human eye to achieve delicate spatial gradual blurring; the latter can obtain up to 256 layers of depth information to easily outline the visual focus. The front-mounted micro-slit multi-color temperature soft light includes three levels of color temperature (4300K natural light, 5200-5300K cold light, 3300-3600K warm light), and also supports five ambient light effects.
