Today, a Weibo tipster revealed the photo of the real Honor Magic 5 Pro in ahead of launch. As we can see, the phone uses a quad-curved screen, with a hole in the upper left corner of the front panel and dual cameras. It is expected to support 3D face recognition.
The blogger also said that the body of the machine has four curved edges. Plus, he said that the camera of this machine supports 0.5X, 1X, 3.5X, 5X zoom.
Prior to this, we learned that the series would include the Honor Magic 5, Magic 5 Pro, and Magic 5 Ultimate Edition. Moreover, the renders we have seen before this are consistent with the lens arrangement in the spy photo.
Under the hood, the Honor Magic 5 series will house the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. On the front, they will have a 6.8-inch eye-protecting flexible screen. These devices will also support structured light and are IP68 waterproof and dustproof.
We also know that the Honor Magic 5 Pro and Magic 5 Ultimate Edition have passed the national 3C quality certification. The models are PGT-AN10 and PGT-AN20, respectively, and both support 66W fast charging. They should have 5000mAh batteries inside.
It is worth mentioning that the Honor Magic 5 series is expected to support “satellite communication” technology. The latter will allow users to stay in touch with the outside world by connecting to satellites when the mobile phone is disconnected, and there is no signal.
These handsets should hit the market in March.
