There are many studios that are popular due to concrete titles. In this sense, Ubisoft’s biggest achievement should be considered Assassin’s Creed, a game that conquered the world long ago. Today, the studio released a trailer that refers not the game mentioned above. The company is going to announced a new game, The Crew: Motorfest.
Ubisoft’s Ivory Tower has officially announced the next game in its popular open-world racing franchise, The Crew: Motorfest. Fans have been waiting for a sequel for a long time. So we guess this is good news for them.
Perhaps The Crew is not a significant addition to the open-world racing genre. But thanks to the franchise’s two previous games, it has amassed a large following over the years.
Developed by Ivory Tower, the latest hit game in the open-world racing franchise arrived in the form of The Crew 2 in 2018. The game itself did not set any records for Ubisoft. But those who liked the game have been waiting for the continuation.
This expectation was partly confirmed in 2021, when an unannounced The Crew project, codenamed Orlando, appeared on the net. Though this was a serious leak, Ubisoft didn’t disclose any details and didn’t promise to meet the gamers’ expectations.
Following a tone similar to Xbox’s Forza Horizon 5, the 4K in-game footage of The Crew: Motorfest showcases environments ranging from beaches to rainforests, all set in O’aha, part of the Hawaiian archipelago.
The studio mentions that the new game will feature a series of individual races, themed events, and other unique challenges at the festival. While Ivory Tower has yet to announce a specific release date, The Crew: Motorfest is set to release sometime during 2023.
