OPPO is expected to showcase its latest mobile technology at the 2023 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February. If you follow the news, it should be the next clamshell smartphone of the brand. Recently, we got some photos of the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Plus, the blogger revealed the key specs of the upcoming device.
As the form factor of this handset hints, it will be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Thus, unlike the traditional horizontally folded handsets, it will be OPPO’s first vertically foldable smartphone to be launched globally this year.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip smartphone will come with a larger vertical display on the front. The external display will be 3.26 inches in size and support high-definition resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Plus, the photos show that we will be able to choose from two color options: Starlight Black and Moonlight Purple.
In terms of key specifications, the OPPO Find N2 Flip folding screen handset will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip, as well as 8GB memory and 256GB storage. There will be two rear cameras – a 50MP main camera lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. This camera module should support 3x zoom and come with a self-developed NPU chip Mariana MariSilicon X. The latter is dedicated to imaging. But apart from this, there will be the Hasselblad mobile imaging system support as well.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip will also feature a 6.8-inch folding AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It uses a center punch-hole screen design, and in the hole, we will find a 32MP camera. The device will have a built-in 4300mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. Other specs include Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection, IPX4 protection, and built-in fingerprint recognition for biometric unlocking.
