For a few weeks, the Xiaomi 13 was considered the best Android smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. All other brands that released similar models were challenging this handset. However, honestly, none of them could make a tough competition with it. Fortunately, not long ago, OnePlus brought its own model, which is a true rival to the Mi 13. Today, we decided to compare these two in order to understand which of them looks more attractive.
Design
In terms of design and materials, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is beyond the competition. Though its design is not anything outstanding or unseen, it still comes with quality materials and a well-thought appearance. The phone’s body consists of an aluminum frame and a ceramic back panel. There is also a large touchscreen display with curved edges that occupies about 90% of the entire area of the front panel. By the way, it is also covered with high-strength Gorilla Glass Victus from Corning.
At the same time, the case of the Xiaomi 13 Pro reliably protects it from dust and moisture in accordance with the IP68 standard.
As for the OnePlus 11, its body is made of less impressive materials. For example, the back panel is made of glass. In addition, it lacks protection against dust and moisture. But thanks to the round-shaped main camera module at the back, it looks much more interesting and original than its competitor.
Display
This is where both phones have almost similar features. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 6.73-inch LTPO-type OLED screen with a Quad HD+ resolution (3200 by 1440 pixels), an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1900 nits, a built-in scanner with HDR10+ certification.
As for the OnePlus 11, its display uses a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a Quad HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, and a built-in fingerprint scanner. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Hardware and software
In terms of hardware, the OnePlus 11 actually outperforms the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Both smartphones are built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, which is manufactured using a 4-nanometer technological process and includes the main Cortex-X3 core with a clock frequency of 3.2 GHz, two Cortex-A715 cores, two Cortex-A710 cores, three Cortex-A510 cores, and one Cortex-A710 core, as well as an Adreno 740 graphics accelerator.
At the same time, the OnePlus 11 has up to 16 GB of RAM, compared to 12 GB of RAM in the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Both smartphones come with the Android 13 mobile operating system and branded add-ons on board.
Camera
The Xiaomi 13 Pro wins over the OnePlus 11. The new Xiaomi flagship is equipped with a triple main camera, all sensors in which have a resolution of 50-megapixel, including the Sony IMX989 main module with optical image stabilization. And on the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The OnePlus 11 comes with a triple primary camera consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 32-megapixel portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 48-megapixel. It has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery
The OnePlus 11 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro packs a 4,820mAh battery. But at the same time, the Xiaomi flagship surpasses the competitor due to the presence of fast charging of 120W. In addition, unlike the OnePlus 11, it supports wireless charging.
Price
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will set you back at least $900, while the OnePlus 11 prices start at $586. Yes, the Pro version of Xiaomi is in many ways superior to the competitor, but the OnePlus flagship provides a higher price-quality ratio.
