Apple doesn’t launch new products as frequently as its rivals. But loyal Apple fans are always waiting for new products. In fact, the Cupertino-based company launches new products 3-4 times a year. Earlier, we learned about what chips should appear in the iPhone 15 line. Plus, there have been some discussions concerning the new iPads. Now, let’s list the Apple devices that will most likely not be presented in 2023.

AirPods Pro 3

The first generation of Apple TWS headphones was released in 2019 and literally broke the market. It made the market change hugely. Not surprisingly, the Chinese manufacturers began making copycats and replicas of this Apple product. The first model remained highly demanded until 2022, that is, Apple did not update the headphones for three years.

Fortunately, the AirPods Pro 2 was released in September 2022. As you see, Apple doesn’t update even such a popular lineup for many years. So there is every reason to think that the new model won’t appear on the list of Apple devices planned for 2023.

iPhone SE 4

There were a lot of rumors about Apple’s cheapest and most compact smartphone. Most insiders agreed that the company would introduce an iteration of the iPhone XR or iPhone 11 under the SE 4 moniker.

However, quite recently, we got the news that Apple had temporarily abandoned the release of SE models. Low margins and the looming financial crisis forced the company to freeze it. But even if the plans remained valid, the iPhone SE 4 would be released at least in 2024. As a reminder, the first iPhone SE was released in 2016, the second in 2020, and the third in 2022.

iPad Pro 7

The current iPad models with 11- and 12.9-inch displays perform quite well. They are packed with the latest Silicon M2 chip and have a modern design. The only shortcoming is the lack of an OLED display. But such changes are usually accompanied by hardware upgrades. As the Silicon M3 chip is not ready yet, most likely, Apple will not launch a new iPad Pro this year.

Apple TV 4

The current model of the Apple set-top box runs on the modern SoC, Apple A15 Bionic. It supports 4K and recently received an updated remote control. So we don’t think it will be included in the list of Apple devices scheduled for 2023. Moreover, insiders aren’t expecting an Apple TV update in the next couple of years.

MacBook Air 13

Recently, the MacBook Air 2022 was launched. It made serious improvements in all aspects. This ultrabook received a new body design, a display with bangs, the most modern Silicon M2 chip, etc. By the way, the previous iteration of the MacBook Air (on the M1) remained on the market from 2020 to 2022. So we can assume that the Air will be updated no earlier than 2024.

However, according to various rumors, Apple is preparing to release a MacBook Air with a 15.2-inch display in the spring.

Apple Car

We knew that Apple had been working on its own electric vehicle. The latest report from Bloomberg revealed that Apple had abandoned several ambitious ideas, for example, fully autonomous control without a steering wheel and pedals. Thus, the Apple Car will be a classic electric car with a price tag of about $100,000. At the same time, insiders do not see evidence that the company is ready to present the car this year.
