Tomorrow, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S23 series of flagship phones. And today, OnePlus made its move by releasing the OnePlus 11 series of top-notch models that are going to make competition with the Xiaomi 13 and any high-end smartphone in the market.
Appearance and screen
The OnePlus 11 adopts a new design inspired by black holes. OnePlus and Samsung redraw the LTPO operating mechanism and customize the screen IC exclusively. Apart from this, the model we are talking about is the first OnePlus smartphone to support Dolby Vision. It uses a 6.7-inch 2.75D flexible screen with a 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ image quality support, and an exclusive self-developed overclocking response technology.
Hardware and performance
Of course, under the hood, the OnePlus 11 hosts Qualcomm’s new flagship processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is accompanied by LPDDR5X memory, which brings a 33% speed increase and 20% energy efficiency improvement. At the same time, it uses UFS4.0 flash storage. Its reading speed is faster by 100% than that of the UFS3.1.
This phone also uses a new generation of ultra-high-performance graphite to redesign the heat dissipation path. Its heat dissipation efficiency is 92% higher than that of graphene. It is by far the highest heat dissipation efficiency added to a phone.
The OnePlus 11 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, which supports 100W super flash charging.
There is a double-ring magnetic speaker, and it leaves the factory with ColorOS 13 onboard.
Gaming
The OnePlus 11 brings the world’s first game cloud computing private network technology: when connected to Wi-Fi, it will start the cellular network and perform nanosecond-level data fusion to enhance network quality. Another highlight is the fast operator network channel; when the network is congested or the signal is poor, the game data will be transmitted through the dedicated channel and server established by OnePlus. In the 30-minute game test, the number of high network delays in a weak network environment can be reduced by up to 99.43%. OnePlus says that despite the high cost, all OnePlus 11 users will be able to use the service for free for two years.
We should also note that the OnePlus and AAC made the world’s first bionic vibrating motor. This is a motor with a volume of more than 600mm³. It is currently the largest X-axis linear motor in the Android camp.
The OnePlus 11 launched the world’s first super-frame and super-picture engine. It allows the phone to achieve a full 120fps experience. It works for more than 100 mainstream games. The super-frame and super-picture engine can achieve super-resolution beyond the original HDR game quality.
Camera
Our protagonist supports Hasselblad natural color optimization and comes with a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor. The primary lens is the 50MP IMX890 CMOS that supports OIS. The other two lenses are the 32MP IMX709 (supports twice the super-sensitive portrait, and the amount of light is increased by 416%) and the 48MP IMX581 (supports ultra-wide-angle macro). The camera module supports RAW domain lossless calculation.
