Motorola’s smartphone business belongs to Lenovo. The latter is an absolute leader in many niches, including the laptops segment. We guess many of you are familiar with the lineups of ThinkPad and ThinkBook. After multiple rounds of leaks, today, at CES 2023, Motorola officially announced ThinkPhone for the first time. As the moniker suggests, we are dealing with a new series of smartphones. With this statement, the company not only proves the existence of this phone but also makes it clear that it belongs to the Motorola brand product line.

From the official renders, we can see that ThinkPhone has inherited the consistent design style of ThinkPad and other products. Its appearance adopts the classic red elements of ThinkPad.
In addition, Motorola also said that the ThinkPhone will have an exclusive “enterprise-level upgrade.” In other words, we are talking about a handset that is considered a business flagship.
According to various leaks and rumors, the Motorola ThinkPhone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The latter is going to be paired with up to 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage.
On the front, this handset will host a 6.6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, a peak brightness of 1200 nits, and support HDR+.
As for photography, our protagonist will come with a combination of 50-megapixel main camera sensor, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Looking at these parameters, we have a question – don’t business people use their phones’ cameras frequently?
