Honor introduced a number of new products at a launch event held in China earlier today. The brand also introduced the new Honor 80 GT smartphone and Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet. In addition to these, the company has also launched the new generation fitness tracker Honor Band 7. The latest wearable has launched as a top model of the Band 6, but it doesn’t bring any major upgrades. Let’s take a closer look at the features and price of the smart band.
HONOR Band 7 official with few changes compared to the previous model
The data sheet of the smart band integrates an AMOLED display with a rectangular and diagonal shape of 1.47 inches and a resolution of 282 PPI. The display is protected by 2.5D glass and is enclosed within a shiny metal body. The total weight is 18 grams.
The new Honor Band 7 is designed to accurately track your training (there is support for over 96 training modes) and to monitor various parameters such as blood oxygen, heart rate, and sleep. Also noteworthy is a declared autonomy of 14 days which represents a figure in line with the previous model. In case of intense use, however, the autonomy drops to 10 days.
Honor has confirmed the presence of fast charging but has not provided, for the moment, details on the matter. We recall, however, that the previous Honor Band 6 needs just 10 minutes of recharging to obtain a charge later to guarantee up to 3 days of use. under normal conditions.
Of course, there is no lack of support for Bluetooth 5.2 and, for the Chinese market, the presence of the NFC chip for payments is expected (which could also be integrated into the European version of the band).
On the body, there is a physical side key that allows access to the various functions of the band which, moreover, is waterproof up to 5 ATM. The Honor Band 7 can be paired with Android 9.0 or later devices or iOS 11.0 or later devices.
The new Honor Band 7 will arrive on the market in China from January 6th. The brand has anticipated the arrival of three colors (Rose Pink, Cedar Blue, and Magic Night Black). As for the price, however, the price list is set at 249 Yuan (about $35.76). In pre-order, however, the band is discounted to 199 Yuan (around $28.58).
