Intel Core i9-13900KS performance in Cinebench R23
In terms of single-threaded performance, the Intel Core i9-13900KS CPU offers a 15% improvement over the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and a 5% improvement over the Core i9-13900K. In multi-threaded tests, the CPU offers an 8% improvement over the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and a 3% improvement over the Core i9-13900K. That’s not a huge gain over the Core i9-13900K, but the golden silicon will make it a very attractive CPU for overclockers and enthusiasts alike.
Specifications of the flagship 24-core CPU
From what we already know about the upcoming 13900KS variant, it’s designed to take the lead in single-core performance, with a maximum clock speed of 6.0GHz out of the box.
The i9-13900KS is an upcoming 24-core (8P+16E) Raptor Lake-S desktop CPU with a default TDP increased from 125W to 150W. Not only is the maximum turbo frequency higher, but the base clock of Performance cores have also been sped up by 200 MHz.
According to the latest information, the Intel Core i9-13900KS will be released on January 12, 2023. This date has been mentioned before by other sources, which lends credibility to these claims. The only thing missing is the price. However, we did see a price leak from a Canadian retailer that reportedly shows a 22% price increase for the 13900K model.
