There are various products for the best movie watch experience – cinema, smartphone, tablet, projector, large-screen TV, etc. But today, Huawei launched a new product, providing a new way. We are talking about the HUAWEI Vision Glass.
This is the company’s first smart viewing glasses, a new device for technology pioneers and urban elites to enjoy the giant screen in the mirror anytime, anywhere.
Key Features
In other words, the HUAWEI Vision Glass can project a 120-inch giant screen in a virtual space equivalent to 4 meters. Open dual speakers, and excellent image quality output can bring a very immersive giant screen viewing experience. At the same time, these glasses support myopia adjustment and eye protection functions.

Obviously, due to the limitations of screen size, film and television resources, time, and space, it is difficult for traditional viewing products such as smartphones/tablets/computers and theaters to simultaneously satisfy audio-visual experiences “anytime, anywhere.” The emergence of HUAWEI Vision Glass has broken the above-mentioned constraints in one fell swoop.
The pixel density is as high as 4500+ PPI, far exceeding the ordinary retina screen. The angular resolution PPD of HUAWEI Vision Glass reaches 53, which is close to the limit of human eye resolution (PPD≈60).
At the same time, it has an eye-catching brightness of up to 480nits. The brightness can be adjusted to five levels according to the environment. In addition, 90% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage is equivalent to 120% sRGB, which is close to the level of high-end cinema projection.
The Best Experience
Besides that, the left and right temples of HUAWEI Vision Glass adopt an open acoustic design, with a built-in 128mm² ultra-thin and large amplitude. Compared with in-ear headphones, it can bring a more open sound field space, wide sound range, clear high frequency, powerful low frequency, and clear and layered sound. In addition, the new inverse sound field acoustic system can reduce sound leakage by up to 12dB. The sound leakage level is reduced by 75%, which is equivalent to adjusting 4-5 volume positions of the mobile phone.
The HUAWEI Vision Glass also supports 3D viewing. At the same time, the glasses can automatically switch between 2D/3D modes according to the video resources.
These glasses adopt the shape of sci-fi goggles. The 21mm body is extremely thin, and the temples are designed with hinges to support folding. There is also a portable storage box, and the cable can be wrapped around the outer wall, which is very convenient to carry and store when going out.
In addition, the air-cushioned silicone nose pads have good elasticity and support three adjustment levels, making them light and comfortable to wear.
The HUAWEI Vision Glass adopts Huawei’s innovative diopter adjustment design, which supports 0-500° myopia adjustment. Moreover, it can be adjusted for each eye independently. You only need to gently rotate the adjustment knobs on both sides of the frame to adjust the diopter freely.
Battery and More
As for the battery life, the HUAWEI Vision Glass can be charged from phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices that support the DP protocol. When connected to a phone with a 4000mAh battery capacity, the continuous video playback time can be 4-5 hours.
At the same time, it is also compatible with video boxes of third-party brands, supports wireless connection, can be used with iOS and Android devices for screen projection, and even supports car-machine connection.
As you guess, it has very powerful hardware. In such a slim design, it will generate a lot of heat. To remove the hot air, the HUAWEI Vision Glass adopts a forward heat conduction design, which can efficiently conduct heat from the temples to the magnesium-aluminum alloy front shell with a larger heat dissipation area.
This design makes the inner side of HUAWEI Vision Glass glasses cooler than the outer side. So users will not feel hot in the temples even if they wear them for a long time.
The glasses will go on sale on December 26.
