The initial launch of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro to the public on December 1, 2022, was postponed for the reason that around the same time, the former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin died. Despite not yet having a new launch date set, the Xiaomi 13 line continues to be certified for global presentation. The information was confirmed on Monday after the Pro model was found in the Indian BIS and Malaysian SIRIM databases.

According to the leaker Mukul Sharma, in both cases, the smartphone carries the number 2210132G, and the letter G at the end of the identifier makes it clear that we are talking about a device that will be sold globally. However, as usual in this type of preliminary certification, the technical specifications of the Xiaomi 13 Pro have not been revealed.
Xiaomi 13 Pro Expected Specifications
For information, this smartphone has not yet been officially announced in any market. But some key features of the device have been revealed. The device will weigh 229 grams (210 grams in the leather version) and will be 8.38 mm thick (leather version 8.7 mm). It will have a redesigned back. In particular, the camera bump will be square with rounded edges.
The screen of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to be 6.73 inches and is expected to offer 2K resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and 1,900 nits peak brightness. Hardware-wise, the device will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The camera module will house a 50MP resolution Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor with OIS support as the primary camera. The other two cameras will be a 50MP resolution ultra wide angle lens and a 50MP resolution 3.2x optical zoom telephoto lens with OIS.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is also said to have a 4820mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Xiaomi 13 Pro will support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. Xiaomi 13 Pro will be equipped with a Surge G1 chip for better power management while charging. Apart from these features, the device is said to come with an IR blaster, a cyber-powered linear motor, NFC, and an IP68-rated case.
