In several countries, Honor continues to show its presence in the smartphone industry. For example, in Malaysia, Honor continues to push forward by presenting new devices. Previously, Honor had offered the Honor X9 and X9 5G, the latest news is that Honor will soon release the Honor X9a in this country.
In fact, this announcement has been confirmed via the official Twitter badge of Honor in Malaysia. The company has also shared a teaser video with the tagline “ultra-tough OLED curved display.”
The teasers show the handset in a white hue with a punched-hole display design. It’s seen with a large camera ring on the back with multiple sensors and an LED flash.
While, in the video, we can see that Honor emphasizes the durability of the upcoming Honor X9a by breaking the walnuts, and dropping it a few times on different surfaces including, marble, and concrete. The display seemed unaffected after several falls.
“So impressive! Can't imagine that the curved screen can be so tough”, as said by HONOR Xperience Officer

Unfortunately, Honor Malaysia is still reluctant to open up about the specifications of the Honor X9a. However, not a few have speculated that the smartphone will be a rebranded version of the Honor X40, which debuted last September in China.
Other Expected Specifications Of Honor X9a
For those of you who are curious about the smartphone, it is estimated that this smartphone will come with a 6.67-inch FHD + AMOLED screen. Under the hood, it is expected that this smartphone will be supplied with a Snapdragon 695 chipset, the same as the one on the Honor X9 5G. Other estimates will support up to 12GB of RAM and a 5100mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging.
Because the Honor X9a is a rebranding of the Honor X40, the front camera is 8MP. Meanwhile, on the back, there will be a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and an LED flash. This smartphone will run with Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12.
