The Lenovo K14 and K14 Note will reportedly launch as the two new smartphones in the company’s budget K-series. Both of the speculated Lenovo K-series phones were recently spotted on the Google Play console. The listing has revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphones as well as some front-facing images.
Lenovo K14
Starting with the standard model, it has a notch in the shape of a water drop, and the bottom bezel is particularly thick. The screen has a pixel density of 280 PPI and a resolution of 720 by 1600 pixels, making it HD+ capable.
As per the listing, the Lenovo K14 will have a Spreadtrum T606 chipset which is manufactured using a 12nm process. It has two Cortex A75 cores operating at 1.6GHz and six Cortex A55 cores operating at the same speed. The GPU is a Mali G57 and it is paired with the SoC. According to the listing, the device has 2GB of random access memory (RAM) and comes pre-installed with the Android 11 operating system.
Lenovo K14 Note
On the other hand, Lenovo K14 Note is expected to arrive with a Full HD+ (2400×1080 pixels) display, while Lenovo K14 is said to have an HD+ (1200×720 pixels) display.
Furthermore, the Lenovo K14 Note is suggested to have a center-punched selfie camera with thick borders around the display, along with 4GB of RAM. The phone could be powered by an MT6769 chipset, which is expected to be the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset. The device, as the listing suggests, will run on Android 11.
The specs in the listing lead us to believe that the Lenovo K14 is an affordable device, while the K14 Note could be considered an option for those looking for something in the middle of the price spectrum.
However, Lenovo has yet to make an official announcement regarding the release of these phones. It is also speculated that like other K-series smartphones, the Lenovo K14 and K14 Note will also be the rebranded Motorola phones. The report suggests that this upcoming phone could have similarities to the Moto G31 or G41.
