Samsung released the Galaxy A04 and then the Galaxy A04e this past October. Currently, it seems that the Korean company is preparing to launch a new low-cost smartphone in the near future, called Galaxy M04. Accordingly, a new low-cost Samsung Galaxy M04 has recently appeared on the Google Play Console list. Here, this phone revealed a few key specifications and this is a sign that it is coming soon.
Samsung Galaxy M04 Design and Specifications
As you can see in the image above, the Galaxy M04 will have a design quite similar to the Galaxy A04 that was launched not long ago. This phone will have a waterdrop notch screen to accommodate the selfie camera and come with bezels that are still quite thick, especially the chin. This smartphone will have a power button integrated with a fingerprint sensor and volume control on the right side.
The Google Play Console listing reveals that the Samsung Galaxy M04 will come with a waterdrop notch display, supporting a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a pixel density of 300 PPI. Inside, this smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6765 processor consisting of Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and another four cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Based on this information, it looks like it’s a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. Galaxy M04 is also discovered to have 3GB RAM and run on the Android 12 operating system right out of the factory.
Apart from the above information, the Google Play listing does not reveal anything else about the phone. According to information revealed by the Geekbench website, the upcoming low-cost phone model of Samsung scored 861 points in the single-core test and 4,233 points as a result of the multi-core test on Geekbench 4 software.
According to previous reports, Samsung Galaxy M04 will be the renamed version of Galaxy A04. Therefore, this phone is likely to launch with a 6.5-inch screen, a 13MP, 2MP dual camera system on the back, and a 5MP selfie camera.
It is known that this smartphone has previously achieved various certifications, including Bluetooth SIG, BIS, and Geekbench. The Samsung Galaxy M04 support page also went live earlier this month in India. Therefore, it seems that Samsung will launch this product soon in the near future.
