Many people are unaware, but ZTE is the world’s first brand that launches an under-screen camera smartphone. Moreover, while Samsung, Xiaomi, and OPPO have only one model per brand, ZTE has already released the third-gen under-screen camera technology. It debuted through the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Space Edition today. However, apart from this model, the company uncovered another fantastic product, the ZTE Voyage 40 Pro + Starry Sky Edition. As the name implies, its design is inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry night painting. The price is 2198 yuan ($307).
The ZTE Voyage 40 Pro+ Starry Sky Edition adopts the exclusive “Van Gogh texture lithography technology” on the upgraded starlight AG glass. Due to the unique star diamond embossing process, it can reproduce the brushstrokes of famous oil paintings to the greatest extent. In effect, the phone’s back panel looks like a piece of art.
As for the other features, the ZTE Voyage 40 Pro+ Starry Sky Edition is the same as the regular version. Thus, it still uses a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, which supports a 60Hz refresh rate and has an FHD+ resolution; there is a Dimensity 810 processor; the memory capacity is 8GB, and the native storage is 256GB; the built-in 4510mAh battery supports 66W fast charging; lastly, it supports a memory fusion technology and MicroSD (TF) expansion.
As for cameras, the ZTE Voyage 40 Pro+ Starry Sky Edition has a front-facing 16-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) camera, a rear 64-megapixel primary camera (f/1.8 aperture), a 5-megapixel macro lens (f/2.4 aperture) and 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens (f/2.4 aperture).
There is a Type-C interface for faster charging and data transfer, a side fingerprint recognition scanner, MyOS 12.0 (based on Android S) out of the box, etc. It’s currently available for purchase.
It is worth mentioning that Nubia also launched the Z40S Pro Star Collection Edition before. So if you like such designs, there are already two to choose from.
