The Vivo iQOO sub-brand is ready to launch its new flagship smartphone under the iQOO 11 series along with the iQOO Neo 7 SE smartphone at the launch event on December 2 in China. In this series, the main model and the Pro model will meet us. The Chinese firm had previously confirmed a 2K E6 AMOLED LTPO 144Hz refresh rate display with 1440Hz PWM dimming and 200W fast charging. Today, the company has detailed the display specifications.
iQOO said that the iQOO 11 series will be the world’s first series to use a 2K 144Hz E6 AMOLED display. The display offers a native peak brightness of 1800 nits. It also supports XDR Engine, uses self-developed screen color accuracy algorithm JNCD≈0.26, and reduces power consumption by 13% compared to E5 screen.
Both beasts support the 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming we saw on the Vivo X90 Pro+. iQOO said it uses self-developed LTPO high refresh technology, which can provide 60Hz and 120Hz with two refresh rates on one display simultaneously. But it looks like it won’t work in the highest 2K 144Hz mode.
Digital Chat Station, famous for its leaks, says that iQOO will launch 1080p E5 flat-screen phones in the next two mid-range phones, and it also plans to launch new mid-range phones with 1.5K screens.
iQOO 11 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC
As per the teaser poster shared by the company, the iQOO 11 series will be powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and will be coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage.
In the camera department, there will be a 50MP main sensor on the back, coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide lens and an 8MP macro sensor. On the front side, the device will have a 16MP snapper for taking selfies and video calls. iQOO 11 series will run Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3 on top and will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery with up to 200W fast charging support.
