The iQOO brand by VIVO is the direct competitor to the Redmi brand by Xiaomi. So every product it releases will compete with a concrete model from the latter. For instance, we have been getting leaks concerning the iQOO Neo7 SE for a long time. It will struggle against the Redmi K60 standard edition. (Maybe there are other Redmi models it will compete with as well, but at the moment, the Redmi K60 is what comes to our minds.) Today, we learned that this model will be the world’s first phone powered by the Dimensity 8200 processor. Moreover, the manufacturer will announce it on the same day as the iQOO 11 series. This will happen on December 2.
iQOO Neo7 SE Specs
Once iQOO made an official statement, a Weibo tipster said that the Dimensity 8200 processor scored over 900,000 points in AnTuTu. Thus, its CPU score was close to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8. According to the previous practice, the iQOO Neo7 SE will be a 2000-yuan king ($279).
As for the chip, compared with the previous generation Dimensity 8100, the Dimensity 8200 uses an upgraded manufacturing technology of TSMC 4nm. The SoC also adopts a 1+3+4 architecture, while the main frequency reaches 3.1GHz. It integrates the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.
For reference, the Snapdragon 8 adopts Samsung’s 4nm technology. The latter comes with one X2 super large core clocked at 3.0GHz, three large cores clocked at 2.5GHz, and four small cores clocked at 1.79GHz. The graphics card is the Adreno 730 GPU.
The iQOO Neo7 SE is officially called “a new generation of performance magic machine.” It inherits the family-style cloud-level rear camera module design and supports 120W super flash charging. The phone has a built-in 5000mAh large battery. The phone’s main camera will support OIS and has a variable aperture of f/1.79-f/2.4.
