In September of this year, we saw the benchmark score of the Samsung SM-X506B on the GeekBench. At that time, we learned that it is code-named “Birdie.” Today, a leaker Roland Quandt revealed the benchmark score of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE tablet. The leaker also said the tablet would come with an LCD screen and support a good stylus.

The GeekBench screenshot shows that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE tablet will be pre-installed with the Android 13 system, which is also Samsung’s first tablet to run the Android 13 system. At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE tablet will sport the MediaTek MT8791V mobile platform, namely the Xunkun 900T chip. The latter is an octa-core processor with two cores running at 2.6GHz and six cores running at 2.0GHz.

This chip adopts a TSMC 6nm process. It comes with an A78 large core + A55 small core design. Also, the SoC integrates the Mali-G68 GPU and supports LPDDR5 memory and UFS3.1 flash storage. The Xunkun 900T can shorten the stylus delay to 8 milliseconds through system optimization, which is more suitable for products such as tablets. In addition, this chip supports a 2K resolution 120Hz refresh rate screen and can support intelligent dynamic frame rate technology, HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision video playback.
