Once Qualcomm announced the latest-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, all major smartphone makers talked about their intentions of launching flagship phones with this chip onboard. Motorola is among them. The latter will launch the Moto X40 soon. Recently, the company shared some worthy information concerning the selling points of the device.
In the poster, we can see the back of the moto X40. As you can see, the phone adopts a quad-curved design.
Moreover, the manufacturer said that the camera adjustment of the moto X40 is still in progress. We guess there will be some surprises at the launch. To make some predictions, we have to take a look at the camera parameters of the previous moto X30 Pro. The latter came with a 50MP main camera, which was able to take outstanding portraits and not only. So we think the upcoming model will inherit this camera, at least.
One of the welcomed features of all Motorola phones is the system. In this regard, the company announced that myui5.0 is on the way. On the basis of Android 13, engineers deeply tuned the silky feel of myui 5.0.
By the way, Motorola’s new 5G machine with a model XT2301-5 has already obtained a network access license. We are sure it’s the upcoming moto X40. The phone weighs 196 grams and has dimensions of 161.3×73.9×8.5mm. Also, from the TENAA documents, we learned that it uses a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 OLED screen and supports 10bit color depth and off-screen fingerprint recognition.
As for hardware, the moto X40 has a built-in 4950mAh / 4450mAh battery, optional 8GB / 12GB / 18GB memory, and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB flash storage. The device also has a rear-mounted 50MP+50MP+12MP three-camera combination. This is in line with what we guessed above. The camera will also support 4x optical zoom.
