Recently, Honor of Kings launched a new iQOO Kuke Cup internal competition. As the name implies, the competition is organized by both iQOO and the game studio. Well, we are not going to talk about the game. When entering the game page, you can see a new product – the iQOO Neo7 SE. We guess the handset is already ready to hit the market, and the company is currently testing it.
Apart from this leak, fonearena has disclosed the key features of this phone. Honestly, they are on par with what a popular Weibo blogger has previously hinted at.
By the way, iQOO launched the Neo7 mid-range model equipped with the Dimensity 9000+ SoC in October. If nothing accidental happens, the appearance of the Neo7 SE should be consistent with this machine.
As for the internals, we guess the handset will use the Dimensity 8200. MediaTek’s next-generation mid-range SoC will replace the current Dimensity 8100 in a series of mid-to-high-end models.
However, we shouldn’t consider the possibility of using the Dimensity 9000. The phone has been spotted with an SoC that uses a 3.1GHz Cortex-X2 large-core design. This is the same as the Dimensity 9000 chip. Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi K60 will also use this SoC. But the Pro version of the Redmi series will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
As for the Neo7 SE, this phone retains the 6.78-inch FHD+ resolution Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and the under-screen fingerprint scanner from the Neo7. The main camera of the handset will support OIS. Also, the maximum memory capacity will be 12GB, while the storage will reach 512GB. Besides that, our protagonist will use a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
There is still no specific launch date, but we think the phone will be announced sometime at the end of December.
