On November 22, VIVO will take wraps off the new series of flagship smartphones and the world’s first true Hi-Fi wireless headset called the VIVO TWS 3. Both products are on everyone’s lips. But the VIVO X90 is really the talk of the town.
VIVO X90 Colors
Today, the company showed three colors of the upcoming VIVO X90 series. The latter will be available in red, black, and blue. Among them, the red and black colorways use plain leather, while the blue version is made of glass. All three phones have a metal strip on the back. It could add to the series’ recognition rate.
Camera
Also, we can see that the VIVO X90 series adopts a rear quad-camera design. This is not accidental, as the series will sport the SONY IMX989 CMOS with a 1-inch outsole, the same lens jointly developed by Xiaomi and Sony. Not in vain, VIVO think the X90 series might become the strongest cameraphone in history. Apart from the mentioned sensor, the phone should come with a self-developed imaging chip, V2. This chip adopts the AI-ISP architecture, which further brings the low latency and high energy efficiency of traditional ISP into the AI real-time processing computing architecture.
Overall, the VIVO X90 series has undergone a huge upgrade in imaging. Besides the IMX989 and V2 chip, it will also get the blessing of the Zeiss mobile imaging system. According to the whistleblower @Ben Geskin, the machine will come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 989 wide-angle lens as the main camera. But there will also be a 48MP IMX598 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP IMX758 portrait lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto lens. The camera will support 100x digital zoom.
Now this looks much better 😌👌

Dimensity 9200 Chip
Before this, we heard that the VIVO X90 series would include three models – the vanilla version, the X90 Pro, and the X90 Pro+. They will come with the Dimensity 9200 (the former two) and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship platforms, respectively. Thus, the series will be among the first to release the Dimensity 9200 chip.
The phone with this chip onboard was tested on AnTuTu and scored 1,284,467 points. This is the highest score in the benchmark platform to date.
The chip is based on TSMC’s 4nm process. Its CPU part adopts the “1+3+4” octa-core architecture. There is 1*3.05GHz X3 core, 3*2.85GHz A715 cores, and 4*2.0GHz A510 cores. As for the graphics card, it uses the Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU. This is Arm’s first GPU that supports hardware ray tracing, which can bring more realistic and immersive light and shadow picture effects.
VIVO TWS 3
As said above, the company will also uncover the VIVO TWS 3 series of earphones. They will come with a new generation of LE Audio Bluetooth audio technology, support Bluetooth 5.3, the industry’s first full-link wireless true Hi-Fi, as well as intelligent ultra-wideband noise reduction, non-sensing body temperature monitoring, LC3 low latency for games, dual connections for multiple devices, etc.
From the promo posters, we learned that the transmission bit rate of VIVO TWS 3 headphones is up to 1.2Mbps. They will come with high-performance DAC chips and will also be equipped with ultra-wideband high-definition units above 40kHz.
