The VIVO X90 series of flagship phones have passed TENAA. Though there is no official launch date, there is every reason to think that the handset will hit the market later this month or early December. Today, the top-end variant, the VIVO X90 Pro+, appeared in a poster. It caused a lot of stir on the net.
The photo shows that the phone has a large rear camera module. Also, it’s not in the center but on the left side. There is a metal bar partition in the middle of the back cover. The upper and lower sides are orange/red.
VIVO X90 Pro+ Features
It seems the credibility of the leak is too high because a Weibo tipster we trust a lot has confirmed the design. According to him, the rear disc should have four camera lenses, and the upper right corner should carry a telephoto lens with 5X zoom or more.
Before this, we learned that the VIVO X90 series would come with a lens of a larger area. Moreover, the photosensitive ability should be 77% higher than the Samsung GNV on the VIVO X80 Pro. The CMOS we are talking about is assumed to be the 1-inch Sony IMX989, the same lens jointly developed by Xiaomi and Sony.
In addition, the next-generation product will support the “Sky Night Scene System.” The latter trains three super-sensitive models based on millions of night scene photos, increasing the sensitivity by up to 100% and the ISO by up to 102400.
Regarding telephoto, VIVO’s next-generation products will also come with lenses with focal lengths above 5X. The latter theoretically increases shooting resolution by up to 64%. As for the “super-sensing portrait system,” the handset will feature a new 50mm portrait lens. It will beautify the details at the micron level through portrait understanding + portrait beautification + portrait atmosphere. In addition, the selfie camera will also come with an autofocus lens and micro-slit dual soft light.
In terms of hardware, the VIVO X90 Pro+ will sport Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chip. It is built with TSMC’s 4nm process and will have at least a 15% performance improvement over the previous generation. The AnTuTu running score is expected to exceed 1.2 million points.
