Tomorrow, MediaTek will introduce its next-gen flagship mobile chip in the face of the Dimensity 9200. In mid-November, we will also meet the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Two phones that will debut the latter are the Xiaomi Mi 13 series and the VIVO X90 series. As for the former chip, the Redmi K60 will debut it. There is every reason to think that the Redmi K60 will not change its positioning and will be a cost-effective smartphone.

Today, a well-known Weibo tipster disclosed the parameters of the suspected Redmi K60 series in advance. He revealed that the current engineering machine had tested two main camera variants. One had a 64MP resolution, while the second tested a 50MP camera. Anyway, both support OIS (optical image stabilization).
If looking at the current models on the market, there is every reason to think that the 50MP sensor is likely to be the Sony IMX766. It has a very good reputation. If so, we are dealing with the sensor found on the Xiaomi Mi 12. But there are also assumptions that it could be the Sony IMX890 found on the Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro model.
As for the 64MP sensor, we still can’t understand what CMOS it will use.
In other aspects, the phone will have a 2K screen. As for specific parameters, the display will have a 1440*3200 resolution and use an AMOLED panel. Of course, this screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, and so on. Thus, on paper, it looks quite attractive.
Before this, we heard that the vanilla version of the series would sport the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, while the Pro version would be upgraded to the new flagship chip of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. If so, it will not come this year.
