You shouldn’t expect Sony to launch smartphones as frequently as before. The Japanese company announced long ago that it remains in the field only for a single purpose. It wants to keep its finger on the pulse because Sony is one of the most popular component manufacturers. Simply put, the firm wants to know what’s happening in the market to make corresponding adjustments in research and development. However, Sony has been and will be one of those smartphone brands that differ in their products. So though the brand has no goals to compete with the top companies, it will still launch new models. For instance, yesterday, PhoneArena reported that the company is working on up to 5 new models.
Sony XPERIA PRO-II Is Coming Soon
The new Sony models will be unveiled one after another next year. These 5 models are the Xperia PRO-II, Xperia 10 V, Xperia Ace IV, Xperia 1 V, and Xperia 5. V. Among them, the Xperia PRO-II received the most attention because its predecessor Xperia PRO-I was stuffed into a 1-inch super outsole. It was the only smartphone with a 1-inch super outsole at that time. As you know, currently, the Xiaomi Mi 12S Ultra is also offering a 1-inch super outsole. But we also know that this lens will appear not only on the Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro but also on other handsets such as the VIVO X90 Pro+ and OPPO Find X6.
Well, we are talking about the successor of the Xperia PRO-I. So it’s logical to think that the sensor size will start from 1-inch. Plus, the phone should get a Zeiss imaging tuning. Zeiss optics professionally calibrate its lens system, and Zeiss T* coating can suppress light reflection. In effect, the camera is believed to present better picture details and precise contrast.
Usually, Sony flagships come with top-end screens and the latest flagship chips. We guess the Xperia PRO-II won’t be an exception.
