We know that on October 27, Xiaomi will release the Redmi Note 12 series of cost-effective smartphones. But at the conference, we will also see another product, namely the Xiaomi Notebook Air 13.
Many years ago, Xiaomi entered the notebook field through the Xiaomi Notebook Air. Then, almost every year, the manufacturer updated the lineup. However, the model that is currently sold on the market was launched in 2019 and has not been updated since then.

That’s why the Mi fans think there will be many improvements. According to the official information, the new laptop will be as thin as about 12mm, making it Xiaomi’s thinnest notebook.
From the official poster, we can also see that the Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 still uses an all-metal body, but the corners seem to be sharper. Moreover, we can see that the machine also supports a 180-degree opening.
Though there is still no official information concerning its key features, the laptop has already opened an appointment in JD. So those who are going to buy whatever is inside can place blind pre-orders. But there are some hints read from the listing. For instance, the SKU shows that the Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 will sport a 2.8K OLED screen. There will be two variants: standard 16GB memory + 512GB hard drive and an optional i5/i7 processor. The listing doesn’t show the Intel processor generation. But we have no doubts that it will be the 12th generation.
The poster also shows that the notebook power button is located on the right side of the fuselage, and there is a Type-C interface next to it.
Well, we guess this is not what you wish to know about the new Xiaomi ultrabook. But the company started promoting it only today. So once there is more information, we’ll share it with you.
