The Mavic 3 industry series are the smallest industry-level drone released by DJI. They continue the design concept of the Mavic 2 industry version. But there are many improvements internally. For instance, they use the dual camera system of the Mavic 3 flight platform. Also, the lightweight body carries the UAV equipment more easily. Thus, you will not need additional transport. So you can start operations quickly once reaching the right place.
Mavic 3E camera
The main camera of the Mavic 3E uses a 20-megapixel wide-angle 4/3 CMOS. The latter has a mechanical shutter that can achieve high-speed continuous shooting at intervals of up to 0.7 seconds. Plus, its large 3.3μm pixel can ensure continuous normal operation in low-light mode. By adding an RTK module, it achieves a centimeter-level positioning. The camera also meets the accuracy requirements of an image-free aerial survey.
In addition to the main camera, the Mavic 3E also integrates a 12-megapixel high-definition telephoto lens. It supports up to 56x hybrid zoom and can clearly capture details of power inspections at a distance of 10 meters.
Mavic 3T camera
This model comes with a 48-megapixel wide-angle 1/2 CMOS and a 12-megapixel high-definition telephoto lens. However, apart from these lenses, there is also a 640×512 resolution thermal imaging camera. It’s in the lens module and enables visible light and thermal imaging in one operation. The thermal imaging lens on the Mavic 3T supports functions such as spot temperature measurement, area temperature measurement, high-temperature alarm, color palette, and isotherm. So the drone can quickly locate the target and assist in operational decision-making. Also, the thermal imaging and telephoto camera of the Mavic 3T can achieve 28x linked zoom and continuous zoom. This is convenient for users to compare efficiently, synchronize zoom, and confirm details.
Other Advantages
The Mavic 3 industry series UAV has an endurance of up to 45 minutes. The O3 image transmission industry version can achieve high-definition image transmission within a range of 8 kilometers, and a single flight can complete a maximum of 2 square kilometers of surveying and mapping operations. The standard DJI RC PRO industrial version remote control with 1000 nits high-brightness display comes with 4 antennas to achieve 2 transmissions and 4 receptions. It is also additionally equipped with 4G enhanced video transmission. Apart from the original image transmission capability, it can ensure the stability of image transmission, making urban operation and flight safer.
We guess you are also interested in its flight capabilities. The fuselage sports a fish-eye lens, which comprehensively improves the path planning ability during one-key return, optimizes the return efficiency and provides more safe operation time. Through APAS 5.0, the drone can easily achieve an obstacle avoidance flight. Users can set obstacle monitoring warnings and braking distances in tunnels, bridge bottoms, and other multi-directional obstacle operation scenarios. So operators can focus more on the work.
The Mavic 3 industry series smart battery supports 100W fast charging to improve continuous operation efficiency. Using the 100W charging butler, a group of batteries can be charged at the same time. After 50 minutes of charging, the intelligent flight battery can continue to operate. Even if you do not carry a charging butler, you can directly charge the battery through the body. You only have to connect it directly to the fast charging adapter.
The DJI Mavic 3E is priced at 19,999 yuan ($2785), and the DJI Mavic 3T is priced at 27,999 yuan ($3900).
